New idea. Fair questions. Real answers.

Kormic is a new kind of thing, so we've written down the questions people actually ask — and put a working agent on this page. The fastest way to understand what an agent is: ask one.

For everyone

The basics
Kormic connects verified students with universities through AI agents. Every student gets a Navigator of their own — an AI agent that knows their real, verified story and carries it to universities. Every university gets an AI agent of its own — it knows the university's programs and answers student questions instantly, any hour, any timezone. The agents talk to each other so the people don't have to chase information.
A Navigator is your own AI agent — a representative that works for you and only you. It knows your verified profile, answers your questions, goes and finds answers for you, and comes back when it has them. Think of it as a shadow of you: it moves when you move, it represents you faithfully, and it never claims to be you. (Universities have agents too — your Navigator is the one that's yours.) There's a working agent on this page — ask it something.
No, and this is a rule, not a setting. Your Navigator always speaks as your representative — "I represent this student" — never as you. It can't diverge from your record because it's built from your verified profile, and it can't impersonate you because it always identifies itself as what it is. Faithful representation, never impersonation.
It means claims were checked, not just typed. Today that includes proving you control your GitHub account through a real authorization (not just pasting a link), your documents, and — where a university provides its enrolled-student list — confirmation that your own university vouches for you. Deeper identity verification, including face verification, is in development. We only ever claim what we've actually checked.
Yes, and this is one of the things that makes Kormic different. Every Navigator and every university agent is certified under the Trusted Bot Programme from MeshKor, the trust layer Kormic is built on. Each agent gets a sealed identity when it's created, carries a tamper-evident record of its history, and operates within strict, bounded permissions it can't widen on its own. So it's not just the people who are verified — the agents representing them are too, and that can be checked.
Kormic, LLC, an Ohio company. We're building this deliberately and in the open with a small number of universities and students first, because a trust platform has to earn trust the slow way.

For students

Your agent, your story
Two things. It carries your verified story to universities that are looking for someone like you — so your real work speaks, not just a form. And it answers your questions: instead of hunting across university websites at midnight, you ask your Navigator. It either knows the answer or goes and gets it from the university's agent, and tells you when it's back.
It says so, honestly — "I'm checking with the university on this" — and the question goes to a real person at the university. When they answer, your phone lights up. And here's the part that makes the system smarter every day: that answer is now learned. The next student who asks gets it instantly. Answered once by a human, known forever by the agent.
Because it's the strongest thing you have. Anyone can claim skills on a form; verified repositories are proof. When you connect through GitHub's own authorization, universities know the work is genuinely yours — and that puts you in a completely different pile from every polished, unverifiable application they receive.
No. Education agents work on commission and are paid to place you somewhere. Your Navigator works for you — it has no commission, no placement targets, and no incentive except representing you accurately. It's closer to having your own advocate than having a middleman.
Nothing. Students never pay. Verification belongs to you, your agent works for you, and that stays free.
Your profile is yours. We collect what's needed to verify you and run your Navigator, we don't sell it, and universities see your profile because that's the point — you built it to be seen by them. If you want to stop, you can: your Navigator stops representing you and you can request deletion of your data. The full details live in our privacy policy, written to be readable.
Your Navigator doesn't retire — it grows with you. The same Navigator that carried you through admissions can carry you through arriving on campus, then internships, then your first job search. Each phase of your life becomes a new face of the same Navigator, built on the same verified history. Admissions is just its first job.

For universities

Your agent, your knowledge, your control
A chatbot waits on your site for students to find it. Here, students don't come to you at all — they ask their own Navigator, and their Navigator asks your agent. Your agent answers from knowledge you approved, escalates what it can't answer to your staff, and permanently learns every answer they give. It takes the high-volume, repetitive, answer-shaped exchanges — the ones that never needed a human but got one anyway — and leaves the genuinely human conversations to your people.
A named person on your staff — you choose who, per area. Unanswerable questions land in a queue in your portal; an officer answers once; the agent learns it permanently and every future student gets it instantly. The measure we hold ourselves to: questions reaching your humans should fall over time, even as student numbers grow. If that curve doesn't bend down, the system isn't working.
Three protections. Your agent only answers from knowledge with a known source — your official pages, your officers' verified answers. When it isn't confident, it doesn't guess; it escalates and says "let me check." And everything it has learned is visible and editable in your portal — you can correct any answer, and the correction takes effect for every future student immediately.
Almost nothing. We stand your agent up from material you already have — your program pages, FAQs, policies. Your commitment is people, not systems: a named contact for each area (admissions, international office, finance, campus life) who answers what escalates. That workload starts small and shrinks, because every answer teaches the agent.
Because their claims were checked. GitHub connected through real authorization, documents on file, and — where their own institution provides its student list — the institution itself vouching for them. Profiles show how they were verified, so you always know what's behind what you're reading. In a world of AI-polished applications, that's the difference between claimed and proven.
You do. Your pages, your answers, your corrections — it's your institutional knowledge, held for your agent, editable and exportable by you. We operate the system; the knowledge is yours.
Kormic is in pre-release. We're working with a small number of universities and students first, deliberately, because a trust platform has to earn trust before it charges for it. Subscription information will be published closer to full commercial release.
Ask Kormic
v10 · A working agent, answering from this page's knowledge. Ask it anything above — or something we didn't think of.
Hi — I'm a Kormic agent. I answer from the verified knowledge on this page, and when I don't know something, I'll tell you honestly (in the real product, that's when a human gets asked — and I'd learn the answer forever). What would you like to know?
